As part of the ALS Group, ALS Scandinavia AB offers a complete range of analytical and chemical testing services. The laboratory in Luleå has focused on the application of ICP-based techniques to elemental and isotopic analyses since 1991. Today, the instrument park in Luleå includes 12 ICP-SFMS (sector-field mass spectrometry) instruments and two MC-ICP-SFMS systems. Our state-of-the-art instrumentation enables us to offer elemental analyses and isotopic measurements for many applications. These include isotope dilution, provenance studies, geological research, human biology, nutrition and the nuclear industry. As well as providing routine measurements, we also conduct research on isotopes in close co-operation with several external institutions.
