ALS Scandinavia introduces a new concept for analysis of metals in water which includes about 70 elements. All metals can be determined in both freswater and contaminated water, with or without digestion prior to analysis.

ALS Scandinavia's laboratory in Northern Sweden is specialized in trace metals testing. We have decades of experience in analyzing the majority of elements included in the periodic table. In order to further facilitate for our clients ordering metals outside the scope of standard metal suits, we now introduce a new concept for metal analysis of water samples. ALS now offers a total solution including for example noble metals and Rare earth Elements (REE).

Low LOQs as a standard

ALS offers, as one of very few laboratories, routine analysis of arsenic (As) and selenium (Se) by high-resolution technique - ICP-SFMS. Arsenic and selenium are elements that are significantly affected by interferences. By running high-resolution technique, interferences can be separated from the analyte enabling lower LOQs. Add to this that the instruments run by the ALS laboratory in Northern Sweden are the most sensitive instruments available ensuring you low LOQs as a standard.

Supplementary elements and tailor-made solutions

To the majority of analytical packages for metals in water, ALS offers a large number of supplementary elements. Such elements can be analyzed together with the standard packages, by the same method.

Naturally, all analytical packages can be combined to create a tailor-made analytical solution based on your specific needs.
